Isaac
The son of promise and of laughter — bound on Moriah, the quiet inheritor of the covenant.
Born to Abraham and Sarah 'past age' by promise, Isaac is offered on Mount Moriah and received back 'in a figure' of resurrection (Heb 11). He inherits the Abrahamic covenant, marries Rebekah, and fathers Esau and Jacob.
