Great name - A somewhat rare expression. It does not occur at all in the Pentateuch; though “mighty hand” and the “stretched out arm” are so frequent Exo 6:6; Exo 13:9; Deu 9:29: only once in Joshua Jos 7:9; and twice in the Psalms Psa 76:1; Psa 99:3. About the time of the captivity the use of the phrase became more common Eze 36:23; Jer 10:6; Jer 44:26.
