Your sons and daughters will be given to another nation
on Deuteronomy 28:32-34
The children are taken and the parent is left watching, “your eyes grow weary looking for them day after day”. Verse 33 hands the harvest to “A people you do not know”, the foreigner rising at verse 43 and the far nation of verse 49. Verse 34 makes madness the effect of what the eyes have seen, and verse 67 closes the chapter on that same sight.
