By its light the nations will walk, and into it the kings of the earth will bring their glory (Isaiah 60:3 and 60:11). Its gates will never be shut at the end of the day, because there will be no night there.

Verse 24 is said again, and the prophets stand behind both. Adam Clarke hears Isaiah's promise that the Gentiles would bring their wealth to Jerusalem. Oecumenius reads the glory brought in as the people themselves, those of the nations who lived worthy of life.
