I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears--that is, of Egyptian wheat, which, when "full and good," is remarkable in size (a single seed sprouting into seven, ten, or fourteen stalks) and each stalk bearing an ear.

The second dream comes back with one word added, that the thin heads were withered as well as scorched. Pharaoh ends where the chapter began, with no one to explain it to him. The man who can read it has been standing in the room since Pharaoh sent for him. Joseph waits through the whole retelling.
