on Genesis 49:16-18
Dan is promised justice for his people, and Samson the Danite is the judge the history gives. The image turns to a snake by the road and a viper in the path, and verse 18 breaks off with I await Your salvation, O LORD. Salvation stands in Scripture here for the first time.
