on Jeremiah 25:32-33
The judgment moves like weather: “Disaster is spreading from nation to nation; a mighty storm is rising from the ends of the earth.” The picture of the dead “like dung lying on the ground” was used of Jerusalem in chapters 8 and 16, and it covers the nations.

The storm of verse 32 leaves its dead “from one end of the earth to the other.” So many are slain that no one is left to mourn them, and they will not be “mourned, gathered, or buried.” They lie “like dung lying on the ground” where they fell.
