Rebekah dresses the deception in three pieces: the goat meat, Esau's finest clothes, and goatskins on Jacob's hands and neck. A garment and a young goat come back on Jacob. His sons dip Joseph's robe in goat blood and carry it to him at 37:31.

Being satisfied with what his mother had said, he went to the field where the flock was, and took out of it two young kids, and brought them to his mother; and thus far he did right to obey her commands: and his mother made savoury meat, such as his father loved; by picking out proper pieces, and seasoning them well, it was as grateful to him as if it had really been venison, such as he loved.
