on Exodus 39:15-21
Rings, braided chains and a cord of blue yarn bind the breastpiece to the ephod. The paragraph ends on its one purpose clause among seven verses of fastenings, that it would not swing out from the ephod.

The lower corners take their rings on the inside edge, where they face the ephod behind the breastpiece. Exodus 28:26 gave the same place. Verse 21 ties these rings down.
