The breastpiece carries the names again on twelve stones. Exodus 28:29 says Aaron bears them over his heart when he enters the Holy Place.

Jamieson, Fausset and Brown describe the Egyptian seal ring, a stone cut with its owner's name and a sign that he served God. Each stone here carries the name of one tribe. Exodus 28:21 gave this order.
