Commentary
4 notes on this verse(Verse 12.) Go to my place in Shiloh, where my name dwelt from the beginning, and see what I have done to it because of the evil of my people Israel. The present teaches from the past: and to those who say, 'The temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord,' and who rejoice in the splendor of the precious house, Shiloh, where the tabernacle of God was first, recalls a history, about which it is written in the psalm: 'And he rejected the tabernacle of Shiloh' (Psalm 78:60).
This site's exposition
go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh
on Jeremiah 7:12-15
The command to go now to Shiloh points at the tabernacle's first resting place, destroyed after Eli's sons and remembered in Psalm 78:60-64 and 1 Samuel 4's account of the ark's capture. If the ground where the ark itself stood carried no permanent immunity, the bench argues, then the second temple carries none either, and the reasoning carries the argument's weight rather than the topic verse: as I have done to Shiloh, so will I do to this house. The whole seed of Ephraim being cast out folds the northern kingdom's exile, already a century old, into the same warning.

But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh - See what I did to my tabernacle and ark formerly: after a long residence at Shiloh, for the iniquity of the priests and the people, I suffered it to fall into the hands of the Philistines, and to be carried captive into their land, and to be set up in the house of their idols.

Shiloh was situated between Beth-el and Shechem in Ephraim. at the first--implying that Shiloh exceeded the Jewish temple in antiquity. But God's favor is not tied down to localities (Ac 7:44). my people Israel--Israel was God's people, yet He spared it not when rebellious: neither will He spare Judah, now that it rebels, though heretofore it has been His people.
