The two verses name the pair in both orders, Aaron first in verse 26 and Moses first in verse 27. The genealogy closes by pointing at these two men.

Moses and Aaron were the ones who spoke to Pharaoh

The verse ties the genealogy back to the story. These two men, whose line has just been traced from Levi, are the ones who spoke to Pharaoh. Adam Clarke, on verse 26, quotes Dodd on the plain manner in which Moses lists his relatives, including those later punished.

Those are great indeed with whom God converses and whom he employs on his service. Such were that Moses and Aaron; and something of this honour have all his saints, who are made to our God kings and priests.
