The LORD your God Himself will cross over ahead of you
on Deuteronomy 31:3-5
The sentence puts God over the Jordan first and Joshua second. The proof is Sihon and Og, defeated at Numbers 21:21-35. The argument runs from what this generation watched to what it has not yet seen.
