At that time I also pleaded with the LORD
on Deuteronomy 3:23-25
Moses asks once, resting the prayer on what he has been shown: "You have begun to show Your greatness". He asks to "see the good land", and Adam Clarke reads it as the wish of a man who carried the people forty years.
