So at that time we took possession of this land
on Deuteronomy 3:12-13
The land east of the Jordan is shared out before the west is entered. Reuben and Gad take from Aroer along the Arnon with half of Gilead, and the half-tribe of Manasseh the rest of Gilead and all Bashan.
