Jotham son of Uzziah became king of Judah

on 2 Kings 15:32-33

Jotham had governed as regent since his father's leprosy at verse 5, and his accession here puts in writing what had been true for years. His mother’s name was Jerusha daughter of Zadok. She is the only queen mother in this chapter given a father's name.

Jerusha daughter of Zadok

Lightfoot, cited by John Gill, took this Zadok for a high priest. Twenty-five years at his accession and sixteen of reign make Jotham forty-one at his death, which Matthew Henry counted a loss to Judah. His son Ahaz was twenty at his own accession, at 16:2.
