on 2 Kings 15:10-12

The house of Jehu ended where the LORD had said: “Four generations of your sons will sit on the throne of Israel.” The LORD spoke it at 2 Kings 10:30, after Jehu destroyed Ahab's house, and Jehoahaz, Jehoash, Jeroboam the second and Zechariah are the four generations.

Here the closing formula changes from the usual question to a statement, and the Hebrew word for behold stands behind the Berean word indeed. The same form closes Shallum, Pekahiah and Pekah, the murdered kings, at 15:15, 26 and 31. Gill held that it covered his years before the throne.
