These two verses (repeated from 2Ki 13:12-13) are out of place here, where they interrupt the history of Amaziah’s reign.

on 2 Kings 14:15-16
The notice of Jehoash's acts, his might, and his war with Amaziah repeats 13:12-13 nearly word for word. Jehoash rests with his fathers, and his son Jeroboam, the second king to bear Jeroboam's name, takes the throne. The repetition closes Jehoash's own record before the chapter returns to finish Amaziah's.
