on Genesis 45:16-18
Pharaoh and his servants are pleased at the news, and the invitation comes from Pharaoh himself. He gives them the best of Egypt's land and the fat of the land to eat. Exodus 1:8 has a king of Egypt who did not know Joseph, and he holds this same family in. This one sends for them.

The order now comes from Pharaoh himself, who sets his authority behind Joseph's word of verse 9. The brothers had come to Egypt twice as buyers of grain. They leave the third time as the king's invited guests.
