Simeon
A righteous and devout man of Jerusalem on whom the Holy Spirit rested, promised he would not die before seeing the Lord's Christ. Taking the infant Jesus in his arms he sings the Nunc Dimittis (Luke 2:29-32), naming him a light for revelation to the Gentiles.
