Matthew Henry reads Pagiel as meeting God. Asher is named here ahead of Gad, though Gad was the elder son of Zilpah at Genesis 30:10-13. Adam Clarke lays out the four sons of the handmaids with Bilhah's two framing Zilpah's two.
