At daybreak, the men were sent on their way
on Genesis 44:3-4
They are sent off at daybreak and overtaken before they are clear of the city. The charge Joseph puts in his steward's mouth is repaying good with evil. That is what these men did at Dothan to the brother sent to find them, and none of them hears it.

As soon as the morning was light, the men were sent away--They commenced their homeward journey at early dawn (see on Ge 18:2); and it may be readily supposed in high spirits, after so happy an issue from all their troubles and anxieties.
