This site's exposition

the descendants of Parosh, 2,172

on Ezra 2:3-35

Verses 3 to 35 name family after family. Adam Clarke notes the pattern: a person's name marks descendants, and a place name marks its former inhabitants. John Gill sets the list beside the parallel roll in Nehemiah 7 and finds the two agree in substance while differing in some numbers.

This site's exposition

the descendants of Gibbar, 95

Nehemiah 7:25 gives the same 95 under the name Gibeon. The entry closes the families counted by descent, and Bethlehem opens the entries headed the men of a town. Matthew Henry notes that such families take their names from ancestors in some cases and from places in others.
