A pot - The word here used occurs in no other passage. It corresponds in form and use to the Egyptian for a casket or vase in which oblations were presented.

on Exodus 16:33-34

Neither the ark nor the tabernacle exists yet, so commentators read verse 34 as recording where the pot ended up. Hebrews 9:4 names a golden jar of manna among the things kept in the ark.
