His might - Perhaps in the war between Israel and Syria of Damascus (1Ki 20:1, etc.), during the reign of Omri. Its issue was very disadvantageous to him 1Ki 20:34; 1Ki 22:2.

on 1 Kings 16:25-27
Omri wrought evil and did worse than all that were before him, a sentence this chapter repeats and then raises twice more, once for Omri and once again for his son. Micah 6:16 later names the statutes of Omri as a byword, decrees the commentators read as an organized system enforcing the calf worship rather than merely permitting it. The chronicle formula closes his reign the same way it closed every king before him, might and acts filed in a book the author expects his reader to know and does not reproduce.

Albert Barnes connects the might of Omri with a war against Syria of Damascus. At 20:34, Ben-hadad speaks of cities his father took from the father of Ahab and of Syrian markets in Samaria. Barnes reads the outcome as a loss for Omri.
