on 2 Chronicles 29:6-7

Hezekiah confesses the sin of the generation before: “our fathers were unfaithful” and “turned their faces away from the dwelling place of the LORD”. The list of failures is concrete, doors shut, lamps put out, no incense and no burnt offering, and it matches the shut doors of 28:24.
