on 2 Chronicles 29:27-28
Barnes calls it a burst of music giving notice to the people as the old worship resumes after the years of shut doors under Ahaz. The singers Jehoshaphat sent ahead of an army at 20:21 appear here in the sanctuary, and the song runs “until the burnt offering was completed”.

Gill describes each group in turn: the assembly bowed in worship, the Levites sang with voice and instrument, and the priests sounded the silver trumpets. Matthew Henry notes that the whole assembly took part in the worship itself, and he stresses that God asks for the worship of the heart.
