Listen to the fugitives and refugees from the land of Babylon

on Jeremiah 50:28-32

Refugees from Babylon announce “the vengeance for His temple,” so Babylon’s fall answers the burning of the temple in 52:13. The sentence is repayment: “Repay her according to her deeds; do to her as she has done.” Babylon will “stumble and fall with no one to pick him up.”
