100,000 talents of gold
on 1 Chronicles 22:14-16
David sets the sums down: “100,000 talents of gold, 1,000,000 talents of silver, and bronze and iron too great to be weighed”. Workmen stand ready, so Solomon has nothing left to gather before he builds. The charge closes, “Now begin the work, and may the LORD be with you”.

Craftsmen in gold, silver, bronze and iron stand beyond number. David ends his charge by telling Solomon to begin, with a prayer that the LORD be with him. John Gill, on verse 3, names uses for the metal: iron for nails, and bronze for the altar and the laver.
