100,000 talents of gold
on 1 Chronicles 22:14-16
David sets the sums down: “100,000 talents of gold, 1,000,000 talents of silver, and bronze and iron too great to be weighed”. Workmen stand ready, so Solomon has nothing left to gather before he builds. The charge closes, “Now begin the work, and may the LORD be with you”.

David lists masons, stonecutters and carpenters ready for Solomon, with men skilled in every craft. These join the foreigners set to cut stone in verse 2. Adam Clarke, on verse 18, says Solomon came to the throne with every possible advantage.
