For thy people Israel didst thou make thine own people for ever; and thou, Jehovah, becamest their God.

For You have made Your people Israel Your very own forever, and You, O LORD, have become their God.

Yea, Thou dost appoint Thy people Israel to Thee for a people unto the age, and Thou, O Jehovah, hast been to them for God.

And thy people Israel hast thou made thine own people for ever; and thou, Jehovah, art become theirGod.
