each of us found his silver in the mouth of his sack

on Genesis 43:21-23

They tell the whole story of the silver without being asked, down to the full amount, and the honesty is new in these men. The steward answers that their God, the God of their father, gave them the treasure in their sacks, and then says he received their silver.

We have brought additional silver with us to buy food

The additional silver backs up their story, since thieves would hardly carry more money back to the house they robbed. They leave the question of the sacks open. The answer is Joseph's own order at 42:25.
