on Ezekiel 48:28-29
The southern border runs “from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh”, echoing the border Numbers 34 drew when Israel first entered the land. The section closes with the formula: “This is the land you are to allot as an inheritance to the tribes of Israel”.

The allotment ends with the words declares the Lord GOD, setting His authority over the whole division. Joshua 21:43 recorded the land given under Joshua, and readers divide: Henry reads it spiritually, while dispensational writers expect a literal allotment still to come. The oath of 47:14 stands behind it.
