For forty years I led you in the wilderness
on Deuteronomy 29:5-6
Verse 6 has no bread and no wine or strong drink, which leaves manna and water from the rock as the whole diet. The purpose is knowledge, “that you might know that I am the LORD your God”, so the lesson was who supplied it.
