on 2 Chronicles 20:14-17
The answer comes through a singer: Jahaziel is “a Levite from Asaph’s descendants”, of the choir David organized in 1 Chronicles 25. Its charge, “stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD”, repeats Moses at the sea in Exodus 14. Judah must still march out the next day.

The promise at the close is the word Azariah gave Asa at 15:2, where the LORD is with those who are with him. Matthew Henry reasons that since the battle is God's, the victory will be his too, and he is able to do his work himself.
