on 1 Chronicles 24:14-19
The roster runs to its twenty-fourth lot, Maaziah. Verse 19 closes it with a claim, that the order follows Aaron's regulations, “as the LORD, the God of Israel, had commanded him”. A few of these course names return in Ezra's list of priests who came back from exile.

Delaiah draws the twenty-third lot and Maaziah the twenty-fourth. Maaziah's lot closes the priestly courses. Albert Barnes, on verse 31, supposes the Levites also had twenty-four courses to match these twenty-four priestly ones.
