When Arphaxad was 35 years old

on Genesis 11:12-15

The list keeps the shape of Genesis 5 and drops its refrain. Every man in Genesis 5 ended with and then he died, and no death is recorded here. The ages at fatherhood fall, from a hundred and more in Adam's line to 35 for Arphaxad and 30 for Shelah.

This site's exposition

When Shelah was 30 years old

Shelah became a father five years younger than Arphaxad had, as John Gill observes. Bede notes that the Greek translation of the seventy has one hundred and thirty years here, adding a century to the age. The Greek adds it again at Eber, Peleg and Serug.
