on 1 Chronicles 9:35-44
Saul's line repeats here from 1 Chronicles 8:29 to 38. Barnes reads the doubling as the seam that joins the genealogies to the history, which opens with Saul's death in chapter 10. The line runs past Jonathan through Merib-baal, called Mephibosheth in Samuel, and Micah down to Azel's six sons.

Mikloth was the father of Shimeam
Shimeam is spelled Shimeah in 8:32. The family's seat was Gibeon, the city whose people won a treaty from Joshua (Joshua 9) and which was later counted to Benjamin (Joshua 18:25). Some of the family lived in Jerusalem.
