From Zebulun: 50,000 fit for service
on 1 Chronicles 12:33-37
Each remaining tribe is marked by a trait: Zebulun sends 50,000, who with one purpose were devoted to David. Barnes reads this as the Chronicler's method, naming for each tribe the thing it was most admired for. Wesley reads the phrase at Zebulun as loyalty without pretense.

The tribe of Dan moved from its first allotment near the coast to Laish in the north, which it renamed Dan (Judges 18:27 to 29). Its 28,600 men marched south to Hebron.
