From Zebulun: 50,000 fit for service
on 1 Chronicles 12:33-37
Each remaining tribe is marked by a trait: Zebulun sends 50,000, who with one purpose were devoted to David. Barnes reads this as the Chronicler's method, naming for each tribe the thing it was most admired for. Wesley reads the phrase at Zebulun as loyalty without pretense.

Asher held the coastal plain north of Carmel toward Tyre (Joshua 19:24 to 31). Its 40,000 is among the largest counts from the tribes west of the Jordan. Asher had also answered Gideon's call in Judges 6:35.
