Verse 11 adds what chapter 16 never gave: "the line of Korah did not die out". That house sings afterward, and eleven psalms carry the sons of Korah in their titles.

the son of Pallu was Eliab
John Gill notes that Pallu had one son only, Eliab, the father of Dathan and Abiram. Here the roll leaves the clan heads and follows one line down two generations. It has a reason: the next verse names the two rebels that line produced.
