Get up and go down against the camp
on Judges 7:9-11
Verse 10 puts the condition before Gideon speaks, so the strengthening comes as an offer. He had asked for confirmation three times, and a fourth now comes unasked. Verse 3 had sent the fearful home, and the man left in command is met at the point of the same fear.

Verse 9 sends Gideon down against the camp, and verse 10 offers a second way down, to the camp with Purah beside him. The promise of verse 9 stands in both cases, since the camp is already delivered into his hand. He is given company for his fear.
