Some read it to the prince, and understand it of Christ, who is indeed the prince in Israel, to whom we must offer our oblations, and into whose hands we must put them, to be presented to the Father.

on Ezekiel 45:16-17

The prince supplies the offerings “for the feasts, New Moons, and Sabbaths,” with the sin offerings that make atonement for the house of Israel. The arrangement makes the prince a steward of worship. Henry reads the office as royal provision restored to its proper use, supporting the altar.

The whole population of the land shall be held accountable for these first fruits to the prince in Israel. And the prince shall have burnt offerings, and sacrifice, and drink offerings for the festivals, and for the new moons, and for the Sabbaths, and for all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel.
