4 additional translationsFor he that lacketh these things is blind, seeing only what is near, having forgotten the cleansing from his old sins.
But whoever lacks these traits is nearsighted to the point of blindness, having forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.
for he with whom these things are not present is blind, dim-sighted, having become forgetful of the cleansing of his old sins;
for he with whom these things are not present is blind, short-sighted, and has forgotten the purging of his former sins.
