Eight years old - Rather, eighteen (see the marginal reference). Jehoiachin had several wives and (apparently) at least one child Jer 22:28, when, three months later, he was carried captive to Babylon.

Jehoiachin reigns “three months and ten days,” and evil is still the one word Chronicles gives him. The Hebrew gives his age as eight, and the Berean follows the eighteen of 2 Kings 24:8. Nebuchadnezzar brings him to Babylon and makes Zedekiah king, the last king Judah will have.
