As for the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, the abominations he committed, and all that was found against him, they are indeed written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah. And his son Jehoiachin reigned in his place.

His abominations which he did - See Jer 7:9, Jer 7:30-31; Jer 19:3-13; Jer 25:1 etc.; Jehoiakim appears to have restored all the idolatries which Josiah his father had swept away.

on 2 Chronicles 36:5-8

Jehoiakim does evil, and Chronicles adds a detail Kings omits: Nebuchadnezzar binds him “with bronze shackles to take him to Babylon”. Adam Clarke notes that the record does not say the deportation was carried out. Some articles of the LORD's house go to Babylon and into Nebuchadnezzar's own temple.

Albert Barnes points to Jeremiah 7 and 19 for the abominations, and judges that Jehoiakim restored the idolatries his father removed. John Wesley takes what was found against him as his rebellion against Babylon, kept hidden and then exposed. Jeremiah 22:18 and 19 foretold that no one would mourn him.
