Continued his discourse to him, as the head of the conspiracy, and the ringleader of it: hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi; to whom also he had been before speaking; though Aben Ezra thinks the first speech was made to Korah and his company, and what follows to the Levites.

on Numbers 16:8-10
Moses names the object the speech had left unnamed. The complaint was made in the language of equality and the thing wanted was the office, seek ye the priesthood also. The phrase a small thing lands twice in this chapter and in opposite mouths, here of the Levites brought near to God, and at verse 13 of being brought out of Egypt.
