It is probable that he said more to this purport; but this is enough to show that he was truly humbled by what Nathan said, and submitted to the conviction. He owns his guilt-- I have sinned, and aggravates it--It was against the Lord: on this string he harps in the psalm he penned on this occasion. 1 , Against thee, thee only, have I sinned.
