Thus Jehu eradicated Baal from Israel
on 2 Kings 10:28-29
The words Thus Jehu eradicated Baal from Israel close one purge in a sentence. The next verse sets its limit: the worship of the golden calves at Bethel and Dan goes on. Jehu's reform reaches every altar built by a queen and stops at the one built by a king.
