Chronicles names sources: “the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel” and “the Records of the Seers”, which Matthew Henry takes as drawn from Manasseh’s confession. In 2 Kings 21:18 he is buried in the garden of his house, and Chronicles says only that he “was buried at his palace”.

Manasseh is buried at his palace, and 2 Kings 21:26 lays Amon in the same garden. The old tombs of David's line were full, as Albert Barnes notes on 32:33. The reform died with him.
